The 2008 Scout Jamborall was a hughe hit. We had a lot of interest in the booth; many of us think it is because of the candy, but hey... Thanks to all who came out and helped demonstrate Amateur Radio.

Tomorrow we will be manning a booth promoting Amateur Radio for the 2008 Boy Scout Jamborall. We will be running an HF station as well as VHF/UHF and IRLP. The main repeater 447.900 will be used as part of the IRLP link. We will also be running a CW table where the scouts will be able to try their hand a CW and get some treats for giving it a shot.
The scouts will start arriving tonight for an overnight camp out and then will be checking out the booths and various events tomorrow. In years past there have been approximately 10,000 scouts involved in this event.
